Principal
Della began sewing when she was 12 years old. Her first sewing machine was a gift from her Mom, who also loved to sew. Della’s first project was sewing a jumper for her Grandma. She fell in love with the creativity of sewing and working with colours and texture, as well as the pleasure that others derived from her creations. From there Della expanded her repertoire of skills to custom drapery, upholstery, slipcovering, picture framing, and floral decorating. She apprenticed under North American masters and old world craftsmen in Germany and France. She further developed her interior design and decorating working with small-space residential units, and home staging. Della’s creativity is textured by the ever changing kaleidoscope of her multicultural and multinational experiences, and informed by the Fibonacci elements that abound in nature. Katherine Johnson
Textile Artist
If it can be stitched together, Katherine can create it. Katherine has over 25 years experience in textile fashions. For the past 4 years she has been one of the principal textile artists with Old World Interiors. Katherine’s attention to detail produces high quality custom products such as roman shades, Austrian sheers, and other specialized window and soft fashions, including throw cushions, duvet and bed covers, skirts and shams. Katherine speaks English and Korean. Don’t let her diminutive stature fool you. She is a dynamic little powerhouse!
Daniel Kazor
Installation Specialist
If you could create from scratch the ideal tradesperson, Daniel would be the result. Skilled, knowledgeable, experienced, and the perfect gentleman. You don’t have to worry whether the job will be done right when Daniel does it. And he cleans up after himself! You’ll enjoy having Daniel work on your projects. Stan has been providing premium quality wallcoving services for over 20 years. In addition to residential and commercial interior paint finishes, Stan specializes in: faux finishes, glazes, wood veneers, gold leaf, murals, acoustic wall carpeting, fabric wallcovering, and vinyl wallcovering, including grass and silk textures.
We can easily accommodate residential or large scale renovations, as well as new hotel or other commercial projects. Commercial clients have included the Executive Inn family of hotels, Westin Bayshore and a variety of condominum towers from Whistler to Hope.
